Waterloo Sunset Part 2.

The Next day we went to Covent garden. As you can see it's touristic but you have a nice atmosphere around with streets artists, lots of stalls and nice shops.

A little further you have Neal's yard. It's a lovely small passage:

In that area there is a Belgian restaurant called Belgo Centraal. I had a nice dish of Mussels and fries. It's hidden in the basement of this building but once your in, it takes a while you're out. The beercard is enormous, just like in Belgium.

After the nice dinner we went to the Thames and strolled around towards Saint Pauls.

We went to Soho to eat delicious Italian pizza. This restaurant was near Chinatown. We closed the night in Islington in the Junction. (Lovely cocktails over there!)

Waterloo Sunset Part 1.

The Kinks - Waterloo Sunset

Last week we (my boyfriend and I) went to London. It was my 4th visit in 3 years but I'm still discovering new places and the atmosphere is just great! We were staying in Islington, north London and not touristic at all, but definitly worth a visit. Islington is a nice neighborhood
to have some breakfast and enjoy the little shops. We had an English breakfast at 'Chez le boulanger' but there are loads of cozy terraces and nice bars.

After have a full montey breakfast we went from Angel to Camden Town. Camden Lock market is just fantastic. The food is freshly made and every country is represented. You can eat traditional English to Peruvian specialities. Too bad we had such a great breakfast but next time, I try at least 5 different countries!

From Camden we went to the British museum. This museum has an amazing collection of the Romans, Greeks, Egyptians, Chinese dynasties,.. Thousand years of culture around the world in one museum, it's almost unbelievable!

Just one street away from the British museum is Russel Square park where we escaped from the busy British museum.

We called it a day at the bar Chicken and Hens Theatre bar in Islington.
