Festa Major De Gracia

Every year in mid-august there's a big celebration going on in Gracia (north Barcelona). The streets are decorated in different themes and they're competing against eachother to win several prices. During the day there is a friendly atmosphere; lot's of families are visiting the festival and the neighbours are having dinner. Not only childeren were stunned, I felt like a kid in a candy store by the amazing decoration. This festival is full of secret treasures, just follow the crowd and discover a new street or square. At night the streets transform into one big party area. Folk, rock, swing, techno,... music, cheap cocktails and delicious food. What do you need more? I had such a lovely night, unfortunately without any footage, but the memory will last forever.

Funny note: everything is made of recyclable materials.

Must see and have fun!

Casa Battlo: Gaudi's paradise

Hi

It's been a while because of my new job (Working fulltime right now) and moving to my new appartment..So there isn't much time left. Bye bye to my old home:

But here it is, my second Barcelona update! One of the must-sees was Casa Battlo. Crazy Gaudi designed it for the wealthy family Battlo. From the outside you can see already a little sneak peak of what you can find inside. It's an architectural paradise, really stunning. There are a lot of natural elements envolved. For instance the sunlight is shining to everyroom with mirrors and the main theme is water.

The experience was quite expensive (20 euros) and i's crowded but if you can imagine the rooms without the people, it's lovely.

Enjoy!

I'm trying to make a new update this weekend!
